PrestigeWatchMods Custom Seiko "SKX007" Mod Watch

Please allow 3–4 weeks for the build process, as each watch is individually hand-assembled to closely match the iconic SKX007 specifications.

This custom Seiko mod is a faithful tribute to the legendary SKX007 built with upgraded materials and modern components, while preserving the look, feel, and soul of the original.

The watch features a 42.5mm SKX style case crafted from durable 316L stainless steel, paired with a slightly domed sapphire crystal for superior clarity and scratch resistance. A 120 click unidirectional bezel ensures accurate timing, and the screw-down crown and solid caseback provide dependable water resistance for everyday wear.

With a 22mm lug width, this watch is equipped with a classic rubber strap, just like the original SKX007—offering comfort, durability, and that unmistakable diver aesthetic. The 14.4mm case thickness gives the watch a strong yet wearable wrist presence.

At the heart of the build is the upgraded Seiko NH36 automatic movement, featuring hand-winding, hacking, and a day/date complication. With 24 jewels and a 41-hour power reserve, the NH36 is known for its reliability, ease of service, and smooth operation.

The dial and hands are treated with green lume, providing excellent low-light visibility and staying true to the SKX007’s dive watch heritage.

This Seiko mod is the ideal choice for those who love the SKX007 but want modern enhancements without sacrificing authenticity. A blend of craftsmanship, performance, and legacy built to wear, built to last.
